Peoples' Vigilance Committee on Human Rights (PVCHR): Open letter to Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh against the threat for rule of Law

Peoples' Vigilance Committee on Human Rights (PVCHR): Open letter to Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh against the threat for rule of Law

Bal Panchyat story of Baghwanala

Jan Mitra Nyas under its child participation initiative formed Bal Panchayat in Baghwanala known as Munshi Premchandra Bal Panchayat. The member of Bal Panchayat decided to raise their voice against various major social issue concern. They successfully campaign and protested against the child marriage, child sexual abuse, water problem, encompass for the school, protested against the fire crackers and wrote letter to the President of India to stop the printing of National flag on the paper and plastic regarding disrespect of national flag in Banaras.
After one month the children of Bal Panchayat received letter from the office of President that all state were directed on this issue. After reading the letter children of Bal Panchayat became happy that Honorable President is seriously considering the voice of children. Today we see the national flag printed on plastic is banned.
A day before diwali festival the children of Bal Panchayat protested against fire cracker in front of the district head quarter on 16th October, 09 and boycotted fire crackers as fire cracker is being made in several part of the India like Dalmandi, Malasi, Hamirapur and Shivakasi. In this industry children are also engaged with their parents and which results the marginalization of Lakhs of children with their fundamental rights. We didn't want this happiness on the cost of the lakhs of children's life. The happiness attain after snatching the childhood of children. In India 1 ½ Lakhs children are employed in the hazardous fire cracker industry and are finishing their life.
They pledged and appeal to the people "we will celebrate diwali by lighting candle not life" and they sink fire crackers in the water.[i] The family and the villagers appreciated on our initiative. http://pvchr.blogspot.com/2009/10/children-initiative-for-healthy_16.html
Child Marriage: They organized an urgent and joint meeting of Munshi Premchandra Bal Panchayat and Kishori Baithak to chalk out programmes to oppose the child marriage of Maneesha. The children associated with Bal Panchayat, in the leadership of above named three girls, prepared posters and handbills in the opposition of the child marriage and distributed it in the locality, including Maneesh's parents. They talked with the parents of Maneesha about the illegality of the marriage and warned them to face the legal consequences.
Again, they organized a meeting of Munshi Premchandra Bal Panchayat and asked Maneesh's parents to come in the meeting. In the meeting, Maneesha's parents agreed to send Maneesha to her in-laws house after she attains the age of 18. But just next day of the meeting, husband of Maneesha forcefully took Maneesha to his house. When Ms. Pouja, Ms. Jyoti and Ms. Chanda came to know about this incident, they went to Maneesha's in-laws house and forced them to see Maneesha off their house and took her to her parents house. After a long discussion between the representatives of Munshi Premchandra Bal Panchayat Maneesha's in-laws agreed in written to see Maneesha off from her parental home after she attains the age of 18. http://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/city/varanasi/Now-girls-say-I-wont-do/articleshow/6181691.cms
